Thalassery: A middle-aged man was caught by Thalassery Excise with 20 liters (30 bottles) of mahi liquor. During the vehicle inspection at Madapeetika, the excise team seized KL 58 B 7372 Shree Ganesh bus and 20 liters of liquor, which can only be handled in Puducherry state, from Benny, a native of Payyannur.
The person who was selling the liquor obtained from Mahi at a low price to Kerala was arrested. Many excise cases are pending against him.Excise Inspector Inspector General Sudhir V and his party arrested the accused. Preventive Officers Shenith Raj U, Limesh O, CEOs Basheer P and Pradish TK were also present in the party. The accused was produced in court and remanded.
