Bogie of the train got separated in Thrissur

Thrissur: The bogie and engine of the train running in Thrissur got separated. The bogie and engine of the Ernakulam Tata Nagar Express were separated. The incident took place in Cheruthuruthi Vallathol Nagar. The bogies were added and shifted to Vallathol Nagar railway station.

The bogie separated before reaching Vallathol Nagar railway station. After the bogie next to the engine, the rest of the bogies were separating. As soon as he noticed this, the loco pilot stopped the train. The speed was slow as it reached the railway station. This averted a great danger.

After an hour, the train was changed by adding bogies. The bogies were assembled by bringing railway employees including from Shornur. The train is currently at Vallathol Nagar railway station. The journey will continue after ensuring the safety of the attached bogies. Also, the Railways will conduct a preliminary investigation to find out the cause of the bogie separation.

Following the separation of the bogie, the traffic on the Thrissur-Shornur route was blocked. Vande Bharat Express from Thiruvananthapuram to Kasaragod was held up for over an hour. Similarly many trains were stuck.
