Two persons died of suffocation after trying to cleaning the waste tank of the hotel. The tragic incident took place in the hotel of Kovoor Iringatan Church. The workers who came to clear the garbage tank died at around 4 pm. The closed hotel had a 10 feet deep waste tank.
The first person to lost consciousness. After that, the second person also came down. The fire force team immediately reached the spot and took both of them out and brought them to the medical college, but their life could not be saved. The dead have not been identified. It is indicated that both are Malayalis. The dead bodies are kept at Kozhikode Medical College.
