Famous singer Harishree Jayaraj passes away

Ernakulam: Singer Harishree Jayaraj passed away. Cause of death is heart attack. He was 54 years old. Harishree Jayaraj is a native of Aluva Ashokapuram. He has also worked in prominent troupes like Kalabhavan and Harishree.

He has also received the JC Daniel Award, an award instituted by the JC Daniel Foundation, Thiruvananthapuram, for his comprehensive contribution to the world of music. Harishree Jayaraj entered the playback singing scene with the song ‘Tappum Takiladi’ in the movie Kudumbashree Travels, which was released in the lead role of Jayaram. Harishree Jayaraj has also sung songs in Allu Arjun’s films dubbed into Malayalam.
