Fire broken out on the world’s largest luxury cruise ship, Icon of the Seas. The ship caught fire while anchored off the coast of Mexico, USA Today reported. A representative of Royal Caribbean, the ship’s owner, said the small fire on Tuesday was quickly brought under control and no one was injured. However, the extent of damage to the ship has not been released
It is reported that the ship’s electrical connection was damaged following the accident, but it was soon repaired. Meanwhile, the company has not released the cause of the fire, the damage caused or the exact location of the ship. The ship was launched last January. The ship’s maiden voyage was from Miami, USA. Cruise Mapper reports that the ship is currently in Mexico.
