Tamil Nadu: Four killed in firecracker factory explosion in Bandhuvarpetty Two people were seriously injured. The deceased have been identified as Mariswamy, Rajkumar, Mohan and Selvakumar, natives of Bandhuvarpetti.
The explosion occurred at Bandhuwarpetti in Virudhunagar district around 8 am. The workers were in the process of filling ammunition. It is reported that there were more than 10 workers in three buildings.
Three buildings were completely destroyed in the blast. Two people who were seriously injured were shifted to the hospital by the neighbors. The police have started an investigation into the incident.
