High Court Rejects Mani C Kappan’s Plea to Quash Fraud Case

Kochi: The High Court rejected Mani C Kapan’s request to stay the trial proceedings in the financial fraud case.

The trial court had held that the prima facie case would stand. Mani C Kappan approached the High Court questioning this. The High Court clarified that there is no need to point out reasons for the case to stand.

The complaint is that 3.25 crore was extorted by promising to give the share of Kannur airport. Mani C is a businessman from Mumbai, Dinesh Menon. A complaint was filed against Capan. The case was registered in the Ernakulam Judicial First Class Magistrate Court.
