Jihadis Vandalize Shiva Temple in Reasi District, Jammu and Kashmir

Jihadis destroy a Shiva temple in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reazi district. This led to massive protests by local residents belonging to both Hindu and Muslim communities. Members of the Hindu and Muslim communities staged a joint protest saying that such incidents were a deliberate attempt to create division among themselves to break the age-old brotherhood of the district. The protesters, who blocked the main road in the district by burning tires and staging a sit-in, dispersed peacefully after senior police officials informed them that an FIR had been registered and efforts were on to nab the accused, officials said. Anyone who tries to disturb the peaceful atmosphere will not be spared.
