Bengaluru: A Karnataka RTC bus which was going from Kozhikode to Bengaluru met with an accident. The incident took place near Bidadi in Bengaluru this morning. Several passengers were injured in the accident. Initial reports indicate that no one was seriously injured. The injured were shifted to hospital.
The bus hit the roadside sign board while turning towards the bypass from Bengaluru-Mysuru National Highway. The front window of the bus is completely broken. The accident happened around 3:45 am. This is an AC sleeper bus that left Kozhikode at 10:15 last night.
The accident took place in the morning when the passengers were sleeping. There are no major problems inside the bus apart from the broken front windows. Therefore, the passengers escaped without serious injuries. Meanwhile, many people have minor injuries. They were admitted to nearby hospitals.
