Kuwait fire; Chief Minister and leaders pay tribute to the victims

The bodies of 31 people who died in a fire at a labor flat in Kuwait have been received. The dead bodies of 45 people arrived at Nedumbassery airport in Kochi in an air force flight. IFC 0564 cargo flight of Air Force took off from Kuwait at 6.20 am.

Apart from 23 people from Kerala, 31 bodies including seven from Tamil Nadu and one from Karnataka were brought to Kochi. Indian Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh is also on board. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Leader of Opposition VD Satheesan, Union Minister Suresh Gopi and other ministers received the dead bodies. The plane will later return to Delhi with the bodies of Denny Baby, a Malayali in Mumbai.
