Kuwait Fire Tragedy: Suresh Gopi Comes Forward to Fulfil Benoy Thomas Dream

Union Minister Suresh Gopi has said that he will build a house for Binoy Thomas, a native of Thrissur Chavakkad, who died in a fire in Kuwait. He said that they are not Malayalis, they are children of India. Benoy Thomas left his job at a foot wear company in Pavarati and went abroad with the dream of completing the housework.

The accident took his life. The construction of the house started in the PMAY project stopped halfway. He arrived in Kuwait on the 5th of this month as a salesman at NBTC Company’s Highway Center. Binoy was calling to his wife Jinita till 2.30 am on Wednesday. Benoy could not be contacted after news of the fire broke out.

The death was confirmed yesterday. Binoy hails from Tiruvalla and lives in Chavakkad with his wife Janitha and sons Adi and Ian.
