Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Hema Malini Wins 3rd Term in Mathura

Bollywood star and NDA candidate from Mathura, Hema Malini has bagged votes in the Lok Sabha elections. Mathura’s NDA candidate Hema Malini celebrates victory with activists after the result announcement. After receiving the winning certificate, Hema Malini participated in the celebration along with BJP workers.Even though the results were announced yesterday, the BJP leaders have started the celebrations this morning. Hema Malini won by securing a majority of over two lakh votes. Hema Malini’s rivals were Mukesh Dhankar of the Indy Alliance and Suresh Singh of the Bahujan Samaj Party.

As the counting of votes entered the last lap, Hema Malini was leading by more than two and a half lakh votes. The opposite candidate had contested the election from here on the last two occasions and won. Hema Malini started her political career in 999. She was campaigning for Vinod Khanna, a candidate from Gurdaspur in the Punjab Lok Sabha elections that day.

This was the beginning of Hema Malini’s political career. Hema Malini was nominated to the Rajya Sabha in 2003. He was general secretary of BJP in 2010. In 2011, he again became a Rajya Sabha member. In 2014, Hema Malini became the MP from the constituency by defeating RLD leader Jayant Chaudhary. It was repeated later in 2019. Hema Malini became MP last time by defeating Kunwar Narendra Singh.
