People with good education should join politics: Actor Vijay

Tamil Nadu lacks good leaders and well-educated people enter politics, said actor Vijay. The actor was speaking at a program organized by Vijay in Chennai to honor those who achieved high marks in class 10 and 12.

Enter the field where you can succeed. We need more than good doctors and engineers. Good leaders too. Those who study well should enter politics. One should be able to distinguish between right and wrong. Don’t believe what you see on social media. We should understand what are the problems of the country. Must be observed precisely. That’s when we can identify the right and wrong in what the political parties are saying.

Vijay said at the event that he meant not only politics, but good leaders in all fields. Vijay, who reached the hall of Chennai Panayur where the award ceremony was taking place, sat with the Dalit students in the audience without entering the stage. Everyone welcomed Vijay with applause when he came to the stage for his speech

Taking an anti-drug pledge with the students, Vijay told them not to go after temporary pleasures. Vijay honors students who have achieved high marks in each assembly constituency of Tamil Nadu. This ceremony was held last year as well.

This is the first time Vijay is attending a public event since announcing his party Tamil Vetri Kazhakam last February. The initiative to register the political party was taken by the members of Vijay Makkal Iyakkam, a fan organization. But soon after that, Vijay shocked his fans and revealed one more thing. That acting is over forever. Vijay announced that after completing the signed films, he will stop acting and devote full time to politics.
