Rahul Gandhi’s anti-Hindu remarks, Attack on Congress office in Gujarat

Ahmedabad: Attack on Congress office in Gujarat in protest against Rahul Gandhi’s anti-Hindu remarks in the Lok Sabha. Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal activists attacked Congress office Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan in Ahmedabad.

The assailants vandalized the pictures and defaced the posters of Rahul Gandhi present there. Bajrang Dal workers have also shared the video of the attack on social media.

Amit Chavda, former president of Gujarat Congress and leader of the Congress in the Gujarat Legislative Assembly, accused Home Minister Amit Shah, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the RSS of being behind the attack.

Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi gave a speech in the Lok Sabha yesterday attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP’s ideology. Rahul pointed out that those who spread hatred and violence cannot be called Hindus and Modi and BJP are not Hindus. He asked how those who claim to be Hindus indulge in violence and hatred 24 hours a day.

The speaker had removed the references in Rahul’s speech from the church records. Rahul Gandhi came out with a strong criticism against this. Rahul Gandhi responded to reporters outside the Parliament that the truth cannot be removed. “Truth can be eliminated in Modiji’s world. But the reality is that truth cannot be dismissed. I said what I had to say, and that is the truth. They can move as much as they want. The truth is the truth’ – Rahul Gandhi pointed out.

The Prime Minister said that the issue is serious and the Hindu community has been insulted. Modi said that it is a serious matter to say that the Hindu community as a whole is violent. However, Rahul retorted that he was talking about the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and the BJP and not the entire Hindu community.
