Roof collapsed at Terminal 1 of Delhi Airport

Meanwhile, a part of the roof of Terminal 1 of the Delhi airport collapsed. Four people were injured and several cars were damaged in the accident. Three fire brigade units rushed to the spot and started rescue operations.

All the injured have been admitted to hospital for treatment. Many flights are running late due to the incident. There has been an increase in traffic at the airport as well. According to officials, the accident occurred due to heavy rain. Several vehicles, including a taxi, were also damaged.

Due to heavy rain, various areas like Noida, RK Puram and Mothinagar were inundated. According to the Central Meteorological Department, heavy rain will continue in the next two hours. Also instructed to take precautionary measures. It rained heavily last night. As a result of this, water entered many places in the city. Due to heavy rains, the traffic jam in the city has worsened. A truck and a car were submerged in water on Minto Road.
