Malappuram: Shigella disease confirmed in the district. The health department informed that the disease was confirmed in the students of Vennayur AMLP School, Kozhipuram.
127 children of the same school sought treatment due to food poisoning. Shigella was confirmed in 4 of those children. Other children also showed symptoms. None are in critical condition.
