Kannur: Two students drowned while taking a bath in the pool. The deceased have been identified as Misbul Amir (12) and Adil bin Muhammad (11) h. The incident took place at Echur Maccheri near Nambiar Peedika around 1 pm.
The workers said that another person who was with them went to a nearby house and informed them. They were taken out of the pool by the people working in near. Both were rushed to the hospital but could not be saved.
Fire rescue team from Kannur and Chakkarakkal police reached the spot. Adil and Misbul are 7th class students of Ancharakandi School.
