A soldier from Atholi, Kozhikode met a tragic end in a waterfall in Cherrapunji, Meghalaya. Havildar Anish (42), son of late Gopalan died at Atholi Kunilkadav Marakadam. Aneesh met his tragic end while on a recreational trip with his family at Lingsiar Falls in Cherrapunji.
The accident took place around 3.30 pm on Sunday. Anish, a Havildar in the Indian Army Police, returned to work with his family on May 12 after his leave. He joined the army in 2004. Relatives informed that the body will reach home tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon. Mother is Yashoda. Wife: Sajina. Children: Avantika and Ananthu. Siblings: Rashi and Mini.
