Delhi: Senior BJP leader LK Advani has been hospitalized again. 96-year-old Advani was admitted to Apollo Hospital on Wednesday evening.
The hospital authorities said that the health condition of the senior BJP leader is satisfactory and he is currently under observation. LK Advani is being treated under senior consultant neurologist Dr. Vinit Suri. Last week, LK Advani was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi.
Advani served as Home Minister from 1998 to 2004 and Deputy Prime Minister from 2002 to 2004. He was the BJP’s prime ministerial candidate in the 2009 general elections.
LK Advani is a leader who has served three times as the national president of BJP. Advani was honored this year with the country’s highest civilian honour, the Bharat Ratna. Before the swearing-in ceremony, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Advani at his residence.
