96 Lok Sabha constituencies across 10 states and Union Territories will go to the polling booths today. The Central Election Commission has announced that it is fully prepared for the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha elections. There are 1,717 candidates in 96 constituencies. Voting will start from seven in the morning.

Union ministers G Kishan Reddy, Giriraj Singh, Arjun Munda, Ajay Mishra, Congress Lok Sabha leader Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary, former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and SP leader Akhilesh Yadav, Trinamool Congress leader Mahua Moitra, former Union minister Shatrughan Sinha and AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi are among the notables seeking popular vote today. .

Andhra Pradesh 25, Telangana 17, Bihar five, Jammu and Kashmir one, Jharkhand four, Madhya Pradesh eight, Maharashtra 11, Odisha four, Uttar Pradesh 13 and Bengal eight will vote today. Polling in all the Lok Sabha constituencies of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will be completed in a single phase.

Voting for the total 175 seats in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly and 28 seats in the Odisha Assembly will be held today. In 2019, NDA candidates won in 42 seats out of 96 constituencies going to polls today. Congress has six sitting seats.
