A school bus carrying students caught fire. All students are safe. A bus belonging to Mannar Bhuvaneswari School caught fire on Ala-Pennukkara temple road around 8.30 am on Friday.
There were 17 students on the bus. As the smoke rose, the driver stopped the vehicle and took the children out. The fire brigade came from Chengannur and extinguished the fire. Police and Motor Vehicle Department officials inspected the bus.
