Seven people were struck by lightning at South Kadapuram. The incident took place around two o’clock while the boat was being brought to shore from the sea. Ashraf, Anil, Sharif, Manaf, Zubair, Salim and Abdul Latif were struck by lightning. They were admitted to the beach hospital.
The information received from the hospital is that the condition of a person who was struck by lightning is critical. Kozhikode is not getting much rain but there was strong lightning in many places in the afternoon.
