Attempt to kidnap seven-month-old baby girl in Thiruvananthapuram, accused arrested

Locals have caught an Andhra native and his friend who tried to kidnap a seven-month-old baby girl in the capital. Eshwarappa, a native of Andhra Pradesh, tried to kidnap the child. The incident took place at 8.45 am on Friday at Vitura Thotumuk.

They tried to abduct Shanin’s baby, a resident of Thotumuk. Shaan, his wife and two children were in the house. Shanin’s wife was feeding the elder child. At this time the young child was playing near the door of the hall near the sit out. The person who came to the sit-out crawled on his knees and grabbed the child’s hand and pulled him.

When his father who was inside the house came out after seeing this, he begged for alms and tried to run away. Then Shan and nearby residents caught him and handed him over to Vitura police. His friend Revanna, who was with him, was caught from a place called Anapetti and the locals handed him over to the police. Revanna has no records. The police are interrogating both of them.
