Kannur: The owner of the fitness center was arrested on the complaint of molesting a young woman. The 20-year-old’s complaint is against Sarath Nambiar, the owner of the gym operating near Payyannur old bus stand.
The incident happened yesterday afternoon. The complaint is that Sarath Nambiar tortured her by locking her in the room while she was in the clinic for physiotherapy. After the incident, the woman went directly to the Payyannur police station and lodged a complaint.
Sarath Nambiar’s health clinic and gym are working near the old bus stand of Payyannur. Similar allegations have been raised against him.
