Kottayam: A young lawyer who was undergoing treatment died after the back of a KSRTC bus hit a scooter on MC Road in Pallath. Farhana Latifah (24), a lawyer at the Kottayam bar council. She were seriously injured in the accident and were undergoing treatment at the Kottayam Medical College Hospital.
The accident took place on Kottayam MC Road at Pallath at 6.30 pm on Wednesday. The back of the KSRTC bus which was going to Pala hit Farhana’s scooter. Farhana fell on the road due to the impact of the thunder and was taken to the Kottayam Medical College Hospital by the youths who came this way.
They were seriously injured and died while being treated in the emergency department. Farhana was an active worker of SFI when she was a student at Kottayam Legal Thought. Farhana has served as former Legal Thought Unit Committee Member, former University Union Councillor, MG University Union Member and Legal Thought Union Chairperson.
