Minister Kirti Vardhan Singh visited the injured Indians in Kuwait

Union Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh visited the injured Indians in the labor camp fire at a hospital in Kuwait. Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti vardhan Singh arrived in Kuwait on the instructions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He immediately reached the Jaber Hospital to inquire about the welfare of the injured Indians and saw 6 injured persons admitted to the hospital. He assured them all the help of the Government of India. The minister came to Kuwait to bring back the bodies of those who died in this unfortunate incident and to see the injured.

It is reported that the dead bodies can be brought home as soon as possible. Before returning to Kuwait, the minister had said that once the procedures are completed, the dead bodies will be taken home in a special plane of the Air Force. Following the accident, the high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi was attended by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Union Minister of State for External Affairs.

Subsequently, the Minister of State for External Affairs was sent to Kuwait to ensure immediate assistance to the disaster-affected Indians. 49 Indians, including 24 Malayalis, died in a fire at a labor camp in Kuwait.
