KSU State Study Camp Conflict; Four Including State General Secretary Suspended

Thiruvananthapuram: Action on mass stone at KSU state study camp. Suspension of four people including the state general secretary. State General Secretary Ananthakrishnan, Ernakulam District Secretary Angelo George, Thiruvananthapuram District Vice President Al Ameen Ashraf and Thiruvananthapuram District Secretary Jerin Aryanad were suspended from the organization.

The clash broke out at a camp held at the Rajiv Gandhi Institute in Neyyar Dam, Thiruvananthapuram. Many workers were injured in the clash. The windows of the institute were broken.

Action was taken against two persons on the allegation of giving the news to the media. Two others were suspended for allegedly starting the conflict. All the 4 people were suspended by the NSU leadership. The KSU internal committee will conduct an inquiry into the incident.

The gathering took place on the second day of the three-day camp. The clash took place during the celebration with singing and dancing after study and training. The activists clashed. Windows of Rajiv Gandhi Institute were smashed. During the clash, the activist was admitted to the hospital after suffering a nerve injury. State President Aloysius Xavier and other leaders were present.
