New Delhi: Fake bomb threat against Delhi-Toronto Air Canada flight. A message was received that a bomb had been placed on the Air Canada AC 43 flight which was about to depart from Delhi International Airport to Toronto. Last night, the authorities received the message through email around 10.50 pm. The message said that there was a bomb inside the plane.
Following this, the bomb squad conducted an investigation but could not find anything suspicious, officials said. This is not the first incident. A similar incident took place on June 2. AC 43 of the Vistara flight from Paris to Mumbai with 306 passengers also faced a bomb threat. A bomb threat message was found in the airsickness bag of the plane.
IndiGo flight also faced bomb threat. The bomb threat was on the Indigo flight from Chennai to Mumbai. The incident happened on June 1. A bomb threat message was received on the flight with 172 passengers and crew. The plane made an emergency landing when there was a bomb threat. A remote was also found abandoned from the plane.
