Thiruvananthapuram: Complaint that a group led by a police inspector entered the house and beat up the householder. Nellithara Kaiturkonath Santhosh came to the scene with a complaint. The complaint is that he was beaten by a group led by Naruvamudu police inspector.The police reached Santosh’s house on the basis of information that he was trespassing in his house. After the incident, the police team took him to the Neyyatinkara General Hospital and released him with his relatives at night. But after reaching home, he collapsed. Later, the family members were admitted to the hospital, but no complaint was filed so far.
According to Inspector AL Abhilash, Santhosh, who was at loggerheads with his wife Ambili, was beaten up by his wife’s relatives at home and the police arrived and took him to the hospital. He has given a statement that he was beaten up by his relatives at Neyyatinkara Hospital and by the police at the Medical College Hospital.
