Kochi: The High Court has granted interim bail to PR Aravindakshan, the main accused in the Karuvannur black money case. High Court granted bail for 10 days to attend daughter’s wedding.
The Supreme Court ruling in the Arvind Kejriwal case states that the court hearing the bail application has the power to consider interim bail as well. PR Aravindakshan’s counsel argued that the High Court has jurisdiction to consider interim bail in this situation. Accepting this contention, a single bench headed by Justice CS Dias granted interim bail to PR Aravindakshan.
