Restrictions on election victory celebrations in Vadakara

Kozhikode: Restrictions on election victory celebrations in Vadakara. The decision was taken in a meeting called by the North Region IG. The Kafir screen shot issue was also discussed in the all-party meeting.

The celebrations were ordered to end at 7pm. The meeting was held at Vadakara SP office under the leadership of Kannur DIG. Restrictions include no vehicular tours for celebrations.

Representatives of CPM, Congress, Muslim League, RMP and BJP participated in the meeting. High officials like Kannur City Police Commissioner, Vadakara Rural SP also participated in the meeting led by Kannur Range DIG.
