Kannur:10 sovereigns of gold and ₹15,000 were stolen from a house in kannur. The theft took place at Sasidharan’s house . The thieves entered by breaking the grills on the terrace. The family learned about the theft when they returned from a pilgrimage. The police have started an investigation into the incident.
Meanwhile, several shops were robbed in Kottayam city centre. The theft took place in six shops near KK Road in Market Junction last night around 1 o’clock. It is clear from the surveillance cameras of the shops that the theft was carried out by a man wearing a monkey cap. The theft took place at Factory Sale, Fashion Park, Shake Magic, Krishna Medicals, Petals and EM Embroidery Works. The robbery was done by breaking into the bottom of the shops. 3000 to 5000 rupees were lost from each shop.
