YouTube service restored after technical outage

YouTube users around the world encountered issues in playing video on the site for hours. YouTube team acknowledged the problems in a Twitter post that the team is aware of the problem and are working on it to fix and will follow up with any updates. After nearly two hours, the You Tube service has been restored. The team tweeted as the platform is back and extended regret for the interruption occurred. They also thanked the subscribers by adding a red heart emoji. The issues appeared most in the Northeast US, the UK and Western Europe, Mexico and South America. Around 95% of the issues were with watching videos. The problems were evident on desktop and mobile apps, as well as connected-TV devices including Google’s Chromecast. YouTube ads also were not loading during the technical outage. Many people shared the information about YouTube inactivity on Twitter. It was then that YouTube officially announced that the issue had been resolved. But YouTube did not specify what caused such a problem. According to a Down Detector graph that shows websites around the world are going down, YouTube was hit by a problem around 6am on Thursday. It took up to 7.15 to fix this.
