Chandrayaan-4 is the first step towards India landing on the moon in 2040

ISRO Chairman S Somnath stated that the work of Chandrayaan 4 is progressing and through this the country’s exploration of the moon is going forward. This is the first step towards putting an Indian astronaut on the moon by 2040.

Chandrayaan IV is currently being developed as a successor to Chandrayaan Sirius. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced that an Indian will set foot on the moon in 2040. For that to happen we need to do different kinds of lunar exploration. Chandrayaan 4 is the first step in this.

Apart from lunar exploration, ISRO is also doing many other projects. These will include everything from techno-development projects to rocket and satellite projects.

On August 23, 2023, India created history by landing Chandrayaan 3’s Lantern Module on the South Pole of the Moon. India is the first country to achieve such a feat. After this, the Indian Space Organization also managed to put the Aditya L-One space craft into halo orbit this year.
