A ten-year-old girl was brutally beaten by her father in Kundara. The father, a native of Keralapuram, was arrested by the police. The child’s shoulder is injured. The incident happened on Friday afternoon.
The father brutally beat the child saying that the child stayed to fold the clothes lying on the bed. The ten-year-old girl gave a statement to the police that she hit the child’s head on the door several times, grabbed her by the leg and threw her on the floor, and hit her on the shoulder. He was arrested on charges including attempted murder and child molestation.
He is also accused in the case of killing his father-in-law. The trial is ongoing. The police said that the child’s father was under the influence of alcohol. The accused will be produced in the court in the evening.
