Tel Aviv: Explosions occurred on three buses in Tel Aviv, Israel. Bombs were defused on two of the buses. Israel has declared the incident a terrorist attack.
Tel Aviv is a densely populated city with nearly 400,000 residents. As the explosion occurred in a parked bus, there were no casualties. The attack comes three weeks after Israel and Hamas agreed to a ceasefire.
Israel claims that a terrorist organization is behind the attack. It stated that the group operates from the West Bank and that military action in the region will be taken soon. However, if Israel launches an operation in the West Bank, tensions in the area could escalate significantly. So far, no organization has claimed responsibility for the attack.
