If there is an attack from India and a threat to survival arises, we will use nuclear weapons , Pakistan Defense Minister

Following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, there will be a retaliatory strike from India, said Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif. In an interview with Reuters, the Pakistani Defence Minister stated that a military strike from India is expected soon.

“The Pakistan military has already informed the government about the potential threat of an Indian attack. We have strengthened our armed forces. Policy decisions required in such a situation have been taken. We will only use our nuclear arsenal if there is a threat to our survival,” said Khawaja Muhammad Asif.

Twenty-six people were killed in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. India confirmed that two of the terrorists were Pakistani nationals. However, Pakistan denied any involvement.
