New Delhi: Major telecom provider Jio’s network outage has affected thousands of users across the country. Down Detector, a platform that monitors such disruptions in real time, recorded complaints from 2,437 Jio users facing connectivity issues. The problem started affecting everyone around 1:42 pm.
48 percent of those reported are related to Jio Fiber. Jio Fiber is the company’s broadband service. 47 percent of customers experienced disruptions related to internet connectivity. Five percent had problems with mobile service.
Mostly Jio customers in Delhi were affected. Apart from Jio, Airtel customers are also reported to have lost service in some parts of the country.
