Anesthesia Guidelines Not Followed: Post-Mortem Report in 4-Year-Old’s Death

In the case of the death of a four-year-old boy during treatment in Malappuram Kondoti, the post-mortem report says that anesthesia was the cause of death. Muhammad Shanil, son of Nisar, a native of Arimbra, died on June 1 at Kondoti Private Hospital. Doctors advised to administer anesthesia to stitch the wound. The baby died shortly after the anesthesia was administered.

The mother of the four-year-old boy came forward with serious allegations in the incident. The child’s mother demanded action against the hospital and the doctor. The baby had no other ailments. The child’s mother said that the hospital authorities hid the information about the baby’s death and tried to make it appear that the baby died in the ambulance.
