My dears, I am delighted to announce that I have been awarded the Times Group of India’s Best Energy Efficiency Act 2024. This recognition was received for planning and implementing many projects for energy efficiency within the municipality. This is a very happy moment for me personally. He received the award at a function held in Bangalore yesterday.

Eco-friendly development was one of the many activities that I had in mind when I took over as mayor. Reducing the level of air pollution in the city was also a challenge. Plans for this have been made by framing the policy of Carbon Neutral Ananthapuri. As part of this, many eco-friendly vehicles like 115 electric buses, 100 electric autos, 35 electric scooters, solar roofing in the entire government offices, life scheme houses and anganwadis were implemented in the city.

The view is that by increasing energy efficiency, the environment is also protected in a sense. These activities have now been recognized by a national media organization. We would like to express our love and gratitude at this stage to all the people of the city, colleagues and employees who have supported all these activities. Although there are few days left, the aim is to utilize it and complete the work to make our city smart. Everyone’s cooperation is requested in this regard.
