Kanjangad: 50 Students Inhale Toxic Gas from Hospital Generator; Students Fall Sick, Condition Stable

Kasaragod: After inhaling toxic fumes from a generator in a government hospital, she was admitted to the Kanjangad Women and Children’s Hospital.

50 students are in the hospital due to smoke inhalation. The female students of Little Flower School near Kanjangad Hospital experienced physical discomfort and difficulty in breathing. It is reported that nobody’s condition is serious.

The schools are functioning very close to the hospital. According to the children, initially the area was filled with stench. The students felt sick after inhaling it. Some children have experienced dizziness, some headaches and others heartburn.
