The world is resisting Covid in a variety of ways, including lockdowns, increased screening, timely medication and treatment, social distance, and the imposition of masks. One of the most important of these is the vaccine. The vaccine is still needed to prevent the spread of the disease. Efforts are being made in all countries of the world. Various countries have gone through various stages of vaccine development. India is also a participant.

Johnson & Johnson, an American medical device manufacturer, is a company that tests the vaccine. Company officials are preparing to study the effects of the vaccine, which is currently being tested, on children aged 12-18. The company hopes to educate younger children as well. Authorities have been approached for the necessary permission.

The US company Novavask Industries is also testing the vaccine. Vaccine testing will begin next month in the United States and Mexico. The company aims to include various ethnic groups in it. The company believes that testing between different ethnic groups is necessary because different ethnic groups respond differently to Covid. The study will cover 10-20 percent Latinos, 15 percent Native Americans, and 2 percent Native Americans.

The Department of Health is setting up systems in the States and Union Territories to effectively implement vaccine testing and distribution in India. Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan has sent instructions to the states and Union Territories in this regard. Repeat the vaccine distribution strategies at the lower level accordingly.

AIIMS officials have written to the government seeking permission to launch Phase 3 of the Covid test in India in association with Bharat Biotech. Bharat Biotech has already received approval to start Phase 3 of the vaccine test. The vaccine is being tested in the UK by Pfizer Industries and AstraZeneca. They hope to deliver the first shot later this year. Experiments are also underway in China, where Kovid is thought to have started.
