Revenue clerk suspended for sending alleged sexual messages to IAS officer. Thiruvananthapuram Revenue Division Office Clerk RP Santosh Kumar has been suspended pending investigation.
He was harassing the officer by calling his phone number. The incident happened on Monday night. Although the officer forbade him, he refused to back down. When the phone did not pick up, he sent sexual messages through WhatsApp.
As the behavior continued till the next morning, the officer filed a complaint with the Principal Secretary. He was suspended after the departmental investigation found that the complaint falls within the scope of sexual harassment.
