The body of missing Maharajas College student Yahiya (25) has been found in the reservoir of Peachy Dam. The body was found on Thursday morning after hours of searching by the scuba team. Yahiya is a native of Thanur in Malappuram.
On Wednesday evening, Yahia went missing while taking a bath with two friends. Yahia is an M.Sc Botany student of Maharaja’s College, Ernakulam and college unit secretary of SFI. He had come to do an internship at the Kerala Forest Research Institute.
Last night, the search was conducted till 11 pm, but due to mud and lack of light, the search was stopped. The search resumed Thursday morning.
