The person who came from Dubai was caught while handing over gold bars to Shashi Tharoor’s secretary. If moments had passed, Shashi Tharoor’s secretary would have left the airport with the gold bars. The person who brought the gold and Sashi Tharoor’s secretary Shivakumar who came to buy it were also arrested. He was arrested on the spot. Gold bars were also seized. Sivakumar reached the airport using the pass and card of MP Secretary and entered the lobby.
These ID cards have also been confiscated. Sivakumar, Shashi Tharoor’s secretary, has an aerodrome entry permit card that allows him to enter the airport premises. “He was receiving a packet when he entered the airport premises and received a packet along with the passenger,” sources said. The full name of Sashi Tharoor’s private secretary is Sivakumar Prasad. Sources added that the case is under investigation and their credentials have been verified.
