This brings the number of coronavirus deaths in the country to 79,722. Currently, 9,88,205 people are being treated in various states. 37,77,044 people have been cured so far. The number of patients in Maharashtra, which has been hit hardest by the coronavirus, is on the rise. Outbreaks appear to be exacerbated in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Uttar Pradesh.
