Brij Bhushan said that I am the most eligible candidate in the constituency. Brij Bhushan said that although the party has not announced a candidate here, 99.9 percent he will contest here. Brij Bhushan said that if he gets a chance, he will get a majority of five lakh votes this time.

Delhi Police had registered a case against Brij Bhushan based on the complaint of wrestlers. Brij Bhushan was charged under sections 354 (outraging the dignity of women), 354A (sexual harassment), 354D (stalking and harassment) and 506 (intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code.
