The Israeli army killed senior Hamas leader Ismail Barhoum. The Hamas leader, along with five others, was killed in a bombing at Nasser Hospital in Gaza.
The news of another senior leader being killed came just hours after the death of Salah Al-Bardawil, a member of the Hamas Political Bureau.
The Israeli army stated that the attack targeted Hamas militants operating from the hospital. Hamas had previously claimed that Barhoum was receiving treatment at Khan Younis Hospital. Barhoum was the head of Hamas’s financial department.
Ismail Barhoum is the fourth Hamas leader to be killed in the past week.
