The Central Government will launch the Vande Bharat Mission on May 6 to repatriate Indians stranded in various countries due to the spread of COVID. Air India Express has started selling tickets from the UAE during the fifth phase of the Vande Bharat Mission. Ticket booking started last evening. The airline said tickets can be purchased at the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi or at the Consulate in Dubai. Tickets can be purchased through the Air India Express website or through authorized travel agents.
The fifth phase of Vande Bharat Mission will run from August 1 to 15. A total of 105 flights will fly to India from the UAE. Of these, 74 flights were operated from Dubai and Sharjah and 31 from Abu Dhabi, according to embassy sources. It is reported that there will be 34 flights to Kerala. There will be services to Kannur, Kozhikode, Kochi, and Thiruvananthapuram International Airports on different days.
