Vatican City: Pope Francis (88) continues to be in a stable condition, according to an official statement.
“Pope Francis’ health remains satisfactory. He no longer requires mechanical ventilation and now only needs oxygen support. He has no fever,” stated the official press release from the Pope’s office.
During his hospital stay, the Pope participated in the Holy Mass with those attending to him, the office further reported. He has been eating well and sleeping comfortably. On Saturday, he spent 20 minutes in a private chapel.
Since February 14, Pope Francis has been undergoing treatment at a hospital in Rome due to a lung infection.
